As much as I love Minecraft, I don't think these can be records. A few reasons come to mind, like being able to have cheats on and being cumulative.

If I remember correctly, the score is directly related to the EXP you get in-game. That means that with cheats enabled, you can give yourself any score. Even if you were to prove cheats weren't used or are disabled, You can always enable them using LAN. I've done this to troll my brother and sister a few times.
Besides that, EXP can go on infinitely. It isn't hard to farm. Not only that, but you can also just save and come back to it at any point. It goes on forever until you die. Since Minecraft doesn't force you to engage in any activity that can cause you to die, you can essentially farm EXP forever if you wanted.
It becomes a record of who can waste more time grinding EXP.

I do wish there were better records in MC, some that would be a good fit for VGR. I have tried to look at every stat in-game, and could not find a single stat that would work here.
