Good evening/Good morning everyone,

I open this topic to have your feedback about this game.
Indeed, in this game we have mastery levels to each champion. The goal here, is to have the "max" mastery level per champion who is 7. Of course, to get this score we should play to win experience to get this mastery and more games we win (and more the game is long), more we win experience.(~1k per win and ~0.1k per loose).
I wanted to have your feedback, because we have debated about this with Undead and PMniac, and Undead wasn't agree because of "cumulative scores".
I explained to him that in each games, to get a nice score we have to play, and furthermore there is a max score that everyone can reach so this is not an infinite game!
Moreover, LoL is clearly one of the most played game in the world on computer, (nearly 80 millions players per month), this should bring back players.
So, what's your feedback about it?

===================

I'm good since it can (probably) bring new players in the website.
But, that's a theory, obviously

I'm against this, because at the end it is "Level up" based. So it is only a matter of time. And it is cumulative for me, because you can not lose exp to Lv Up.

So at the end there's not really a Competition. Someone who played the Game for quite some time have already alot of exp collected. So if anyone new want to beat or tie a Score, they just Play the Game until this happen.
Sure it takes longer if you fail, but ever Game Session adding more to the exp bar to reach a new Level.

If this will be allowed, then we have to allow every RPG based on Level Up's too. (was is a stupid idea imo)

I think there was a reason to not allow cumulative scores, even if they can be maxed out, because the way is still cumulative: "just Play Long enough until you done" not true matter of skill (only for reaching it faster by Winning more then loosing) but if you also get exp by loosing, there is no penality to reduce or even set it back to Zero.

I think this Topic is important, because we also have some other Games that was added to the site without thinking/asking how this scores get achieved in specific games.
(for example: Kirby's Dream Land 2 on Game Boy is also cumulative, because the Score stays, even if you turn of the Game. So you can Play later again, not to worry starting from Zero again)

-Multiplayer records are forbidden.
-Cumulative and infinite records need to be avoided.

That's from the "[FAQ] How to suggest a game?".

Can't you make this scores offline?
With bots?

Such as warcraft, for instance

I don't play the game, but this is what I find online.

"All Co-op vs. AI modes and custom games are not eligible for Champion Mastery."
So I think it's only PVP.

You also get boost up to 10% when play with premade group.

All what Smoka said is true, we can't win xp against bots we have to play in normal game against players not against bot. But it doesn't matter, even if you play alone you can have a m7 easily.
But i understand that it could be declined for multiplayer records.
It's not really a cumulative game and its not infinite.

Best regards,
Yuri.

I do not play the game, also.
But yes, if you can only play this "score mode" online, it's not the kind of game VGR allows regarding the rules.
because, if we allow this, then we allow the use of people playing with 2 controlers etc...

The true problem is here. It's a cumulative record, so it shouldn't be on the site. If it's impossible to lose your progression and you can save and increase you score anytime, then it's not a record.

Actually to have the m6 you have to gain 2 (for m6) or 3 (for m7) tokens. These tokens can be gained by doing a S-, S or S+ score at the end of the game with a champion m5.
So you can reach the m5 without any problems because it's cumulative. Then, you need to be good.
So what do you say is part true, but not totally. The real problem is that you can obtain S-, S or S+ if you play against bad players or againt people that you know very very easily. So yes impossible to add LoL on VGR.
